Born: 14th February, 1963.
Afrozaa Jamil joined the College of Fine Arts and Crafts, Dhaka University in 1979. Majored in Oriental Art and Minor in Commercial Art, she completed here Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1985 from the Institute of Fine Arts and Crafts, Dhaka University. She joined Arong as a designer in 1986 and worked till 1988. In 1989 she moved to Los Angeles, California, USA. While living there, she studied Print Making and Painting under artist Martin Mondrez in Glendale College, California, 1991 to 1992. In 2005 she also learnt studio Pottery Making under Native American ottery maker Mel Cornshaker in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. Now she resides in Dhaka, Bangladesh and working as a freelance Artist.
