2000 : UK National Award, The Winsor & Newton Worldwide Millennium Painting Competition.
1991 : Best Medium Award. Institute of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

2000-05 : Artist In Residence, Whitechapel Art Gallery, London. Coordinated a painting and drawing workshop for Thomas Buxton Infant School, Museum in Dockland, London. Facilitated a traditional art and design workshop for local people and visitors. Brady Arts & Community Centre. Tower Hamlets, London. Taught contemporary painting and printmaking to all age groups. Was Visiting Artist at the Ragged School Museum, London. Coordinated a printmaking workshop for children aged 5-14 years. Children Discovery Centre, London. Coordinated an art and crafts workshop for children aged 5/7 years. Freeform Art Trust, Dalston lane London. Designed Water Sculpture for the Green Dragon Yard, London.
1995, 97 : Artist In Residency at Central Foundation Girls School, Thomas Buxton Junior School, Harbinger Primary School, with London International Festival of Theatre, 'Utshob' project for the 50th Anniversary of Indian Independence, collaboration work in Tower Hamlets, London, UK.
