Born

20th February 1941, Howrah, West Bengal, India.
Forefather’s Home: Vill.: Sabalsinghapoor, Hoogly.
In 1950, Bulbon Migrated with parents to Bangladesh.


Education

B.A. (Hons.), M.A. in Sociology, 1963, University of Dhaka.


Awards

United Bank Limited literary award for juvenile novel KANAMAMA (One eyed maternal uncle), 1967, during Pakistan time. Bangla Academy Award in juvenile literature, 1973.


Solo Exhibition

1989: Water Colour at the gallery of the Alliance Francaise de Dhaka.
1991: Pastel painting at the gallery of the German Cultural Centre, Dhaka.
1992: Miniature painting at La Gallery, Dhaka.
1992: Painting at Center Art Gallery, Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
1994: Oil painting at the gallery of the Alliance Francaise de Dhaka.
1997: Painting at Chitrakoot Art Gallery, Kolkata, India.
2000: Dry-point at Divine Art Gallery, Dhaka.
Participate regularly at the National and Biennial exhibition at Shilpakala Academy.
Participated 5th Annual International Exhibition of Miniature Art, Toronto, Canada, 1990.
Participated in Exhibition of  Miniature Art Society, Bangladesh, 1991-92.
